Qigong (Chi Kung)
Qigong, also known as Chi Kung, literally translated is ‘the working of chi’. It is an internal energy practice that stimulates the flow of qi (chi) throughout the human body, so that a person achieves a natural balance. It is therefore a process of change and transformation that improves mental and physical health.
The practise of Qigong has been proven to improve the respiratory system, limb strength, flexibility of the joints, as well as enhances general balance.
The relaxed and slow pace of the exercise calms the mind while concentrating on the exercise helps to promote the growth and repair of nerve cells.
Qigong also signifies the use of breathing to develop the qi (chi) for special purposes, such as fighting or healing. There are different breathing methods to achieve this. Over time, Qigong exercises have become simple exercises for qi (chi) development. The most important point of Qigong became the least mentioned – the use of the Dantian.
